 Toast the original Ballard craft brewery as we celebrate our 25th Anniversary!

Bring the whole family to the Jolly on Saturday, August 22nd to celebrate 25 beers for 25 years! There will be 25 beers on tap including guest taps from local breweries including Rueben's, Stoup, Populuxe, and more!

Enjoy slow roasted BBQ Pork & Beef, Corn on the Cob, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Baked Beans, Clam & Mussels, Hot Dogs, and more. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Ballard Food Bank.

There will be large inflatable toys, a rock climbing wall, a mechanical bull and other fun street features. You may purchase vouchers for these activities onsite, the price ranges from $2 to $4 per ride, or an unlimited voucher for $35.

Located in Ballard between 14th Ave. NW and 11th Ave. NW on NW Ballard Way in Ballard's Beautiful Southeastern Industrial Area. Parking available on the street or in Trupanion 's Parking Lot right down the street. Also it's an easy commute by bicycle via the Burke Gilman Trail or by using Metro 28, 40 or the D line to or from Downtown  Seattle.

****Tickets will be available for pickup at the Information Kiosk at the event. Please bring ID to pick up ticket. Must be 21 years and older with ID to purchase beer and or redeem beer voucher. Cash and Credit accepted. Net Proceeds Benefit the Ballard Food Bank.

Holiday Brewmaster Dinner and Stein contest!

On Sunday, December 21st, we will be hosting our first-ever Special Holiday Brewmaster Dinner in the Jolly Roger Taproom. The Brewmaster Dinner menu, created by the talented Chefs in the Jolly Roger Kitchen, will be incorporating over 8 different Maritime beers into the dinner’s separate courses. Each course will also come with its own beer that has been chosen to complement the dish, 5 beers with 5 courses. Our Jolly Roger Christmas Ale and Bosun’s Black Bourbon Barrel Aged Porter are just a couple of the beers to be featured. Dinner will start at 6 PM and cost $40 per person plus tax and gratuity. Advance reservations are required by December 19th. Call 206-782-6181. Seats are going fast, we only have about 15 spots left, so don't wait to call to reserve your spot. Save this Date and don’t be left out! Oh, and Yes the SEAHAWKS game will be on!

The 2014 Holiday Season also gives us the opportunity to hold the first Maritime “It Must Hold Beer” Stein Contest. With December being a month of merriment and the joyful drinking of Holiday Beverages, we are celebrating with a one-of-a-kind Stein Contest for which Maritime has partnered with Pottery Northwest. Participants in the contest have each handcrafted their own unique stein totally from ceramics. Some have incorporated a maritime (or even a “Jolly Roger”) theme. And each stein, of course, “Must Hold Beer”. We will also be announcing the winners of Maritime’s “It Must Hold Beer” Stein Contest during a break in the Brewmaster's Dinner mentioned above. All entries are on display in the Jolly Roger Taproom from December 7th through December 21st and will be available for purchase at the end of the contest, with the 1st Prize-winning stein to be permanently displayed in a place of honor at the Jolly Roger Taproom. All of the winning entries will be determined entirely by popular vote

Jolly Roger Christmas Ale is back on tap TODAY at the Jolly Roger Taproom! $3 Beer for All Veterans, All Day! Happy Veterans Day!

To Celebrate Jolly being back on tap, we'll have FIVE unique Jolly varieties to choose from at 5:00PM.

Varieties include: 2014 Jolly Roger, Vintage 2013 Jolly Roger, 2014 Rum Oak Aged Jolly, 2014 Aged Jolly on Cherries & Brandy, and a VERY special 2013 Bourbon Barrel Aged Jolly (You're not going to want to miss it!).

Come celebrate the unofficial start to the winter season on this cold clear day at the Jolly Roger Taproom. Have a Pint of Jolly, or get a sampler tray of all five flavors!

Join us Tuesday November 11th at 5 PM at the Jolly Roger for the tapping of this years Jolly on Draft. We will be offering 5 unique Jollys: Rum-Oak Aged Jolly, Brandied-Cherry Jolly, a special Bourbon Barrel Aged 2013 Jolly, 2013 Jolly and of course 2014 Jolly. All vary tasty! We'll also be doing some give aways around 7 pm so don't go away too early that evening.  Sampler flights will also be available so we don't get you too messed up!  Come on by it'll be fun.

What can be Next?

XPA Fresh Hop Harvest Ale! That's what's NEXT!!

This Wednesday starting at 5 PM we will be tapping this years Fresh Hop Ale, XPA. XPA is bright and hoppy this year made with over 200 lbs. of fresh Amarillo Hops from the Sunshine Ranch of Gamache & Sons in Toppenish, WA.  This pale ale style covers the vast flavors of bold citrus notes to floral aromatics. We will also be tapping at 5PM a special dry hopped cask condition version of this years XPA.  Get hare as early as you because we know the cask will not last long.

We've been in the throes of Jolly production and keeping up with  the other seasonals and have forgotten to keep you posted. We apologize!  One of the tastiest collaborations  beside the Kolsch we did with Coronado Brewing Co. is being released this next Wednesday Oct 15th. Come by and check it out. Bourbon Barrel Aged Bosun's Black.  Aged for 9 months of which over 3 months were aged in Barrel Raider Bourbon barrels from Batch 206. This beer is rich and roasty with a backbone of Bourbon. Awesome! Come by this coming Wednesday and have a glass. It all starts at 5PM.
